Easy Money from Working at Home

By Craig Garrett

Who among you can live without money? Isn’t it impossible? Does it make a difference if you have a single cent or a bundle of green money in your pocket? Indeed, it does make a difference.

Parents cannot buy the needs of their children, cannot send them to school and cannot give them what they want. The only solution is money…

Even if you are already surrounded with all the things that you need, if you do not have money, you cannot do anything else. Don’t you realize that it is quite disgusting when you just sit in a corner of your room?

Laziness should not be part of a person’s lifestyle. People must learn how to maximize their time and effort. They should go on with the flow of the water. Remember that when there is work, there is money. You have to grab the chance!

There are many things you can do to make money. If you get annoyed working at an office where you hear the voice of your boss everyday, you can do something else.

Remember, it is pretty cool if you start exploring new things. You just need to be inspired, innovative. It is also self-fulfilling if you are able to achieve your goals with your own efforts and ingenuity.

The best place where you can start making money is at home. This is a haven for your family, but you can also make use of it in a more functional manner.

It does not mean that you have to give up your career right away and quit your regular job. Making money at home is making use of your spare time rather. In other words, you can do this during the weekend. Surely, you will get fond of it later.

Here is one idea are to turn your personal computer into a money machine.

1. Look for an affiliate program. You should choose one that pays at least $15 per sale. A good starting point is comission junction or clickbank.

2. Once you chose an affiliateprogram get your affiliate link.

3. Now it is time to start doing keyword research. Make a list of keywords people most likely will search for when looking for the product you are promoting.

4. Write an attention grabbing ad.

5. Sign up at Adwords.

6. Set up your adwords account by adding the keywords you researched and by adding the ad you created.

7. Wait for the orders to start coming in.

8. Refine your ad and keywords to make the most out of your campaign.

This is just one idea to make an additional income from home. Adwords advertising still works great. All you need to do is make sure you are promoting a product that converts and keep the cost per click as low as possible.

The extra money that you will earn will somehow help to sustain your everyday expenses.

Considerations Before Declaring Bankruptcy

By Barton Simmons

Filing for bankruptcy is an extreme move, not a quick fix. It’s a long, painful process with a huge stigma, and you’re unlikely to be able to get any kind of credit for ten years afterwards. Yet bankruptcies are on the rise. Out of ignorance or stupidity, more and more people seem to be using bankruptcy as a first option, instead of a last resort. Before you do it, make sure you’ve considered every alternative.

Have You Reorganised Your Debt?

If you haven’t tried debt consolidation or negotiation, you really should. Yes, you’ll have to pay back your debts eventually, but surely that’s better than bankruptcy, isn’t it?

Sell Everything You Can.

It’s better to sell everything you own than it is to go into bankruptcy. Move to a smaller house. Sell your cars and take the bus. Take a good, hard look at your life, and realise that there are very few true ‘basics’: you can do without almost everything. Your house is probably full of quite valuable things that you never use, so bite the bullet and get rid of them. In short, subtract your debt payments from your income, and live like someone who earns that much.

You are going to lose almost everything you own if you declare bankruptcy, so you might as well try to sell it yourself at a better price and avoid the bankruptcy issue altogether.

Work More.

If you can get extra hours, do it. Being bankrupt is such an indignity that you should at least try going to your boss and asking for a pay rise or promotion. After all, the worst they can do is say no. They’re going to find out about it anyway if you declare bankruptcy, and they might wonder why you didn’t come and ask for their help. Also, if you’re married and only one of you works, try to get the other a job - you never know, it might even be fun!

Use the Power of Threats.

One of the best things to do when you’re considering bankruptcy is to write a letter to absolutely everyone you owe money to, letting them know. Make it a very clear threat: “if I cannot find a way of paying my debts then I will be forced to file for bankruptcy”. Most creditors would rather let you pay back a tiny fraction of what you owe than have to try to get money out of a bankrupt.

Know Your Local Laws.

Bankruptcy laws vary enormously depending on where you are. There are some places where you’ll be forced to give up everything you own to pay your creditors, some places where you at least get to keep your house, and some where you can declare yourself bankrupt and not even notice! Try to get a lawyer - you might think that you can’t afford one, but many will work ‘pro bono’ (for free) for people who really need a lawyer but can’t pay.

As You Approach Retirement

By Barton Simmons

If you find yourself getting close to retirement age without a nest egg, do not despair. There are still things you can do during your 40s and 50s to get yourself prepared for retirement. They include figuring out how much money you will need during retirement, income sources like social security or retirement pensions, setting goals, start contributing to your 401 (k), be aggressive, downsize, and eliminate debt to name a few.

The first thing you should do if you find yourself close to retirement with no savings is to calculate the amount of money you will need during retirement as well as what age you plan on retiring. You will find many resources online that will help you come up with this number such as retirement calculators.

Once you have a general number you will need for your retirement, then you should figure out the income you will receive each year in social security benefits, pensions, other retirement accounts, 401(k) plans and the like. Be conservative when figuring this number because you do not want to overestimate. Then, you can subtract what you will be earning each year from what you need to live comfortably and that will give you the money you need to save.

Now that you know how much money you will need on average you can set some savings goals for yourself. There are plenty of ways you can save money from shopping with coupons to taking your lunch to work with you to not buying a new car every year. Wherever you are spending money and can scale back, do. It will mean the difference between a happy retirement or a stressful one.

Next, if you have a 401(k) plan and are not using it, start! Start depositing the maximum allowed so you can get your retirement account beefed up and prepared for your years of relaxation. Also, see if your employer has a match program as well, this is free money and will help your nest egg grow that much quicker.

If you have some investments, consider getting a little aggressive with them. The stock market and mutual funds are a good place to start, and with the help of a stock broker you can likely turn a little money into a lot pretty quickly.

If you are still concerned about making it during retirement consider downsizing to a smaller home, less expensive car, fewer vacations, and less shopping sprees. This might take some effort, but it will be worthwhile to be able to retire happily and not continue working when you are 75 years old.

And finally, eliminate any debt you have. Do this as quickly and aggressively as possible because the longer you wait the more money you will have to pay. So, if you pay it off quickly it might be difficult, but it will allow you to save more money for retirement in the long run.
